THE OUROBORIC CONDITION

The circular snake, intended as the primal dragon eating his own tail, the ouroboros (ourà: "tail", boròs: "devouring"), is very ancient symbol. Ancestral potentiality, the dragon rounds the entire cosm with its coils: as drawn in the depictions of the ancient geographers, often is seenable as an enormous circular snake. In the ermetic tradition, the ouroboros' image symbolizes the union between the fixed and the ephemeral, between the body and the soul. Therefore, in its circularity, it represents the infinite, the eternity, and even the unity, because every point on the circumference is equidistant from the centre and in a tight contact from each other point. It is the substance of the substances, the great symbol of the time's cycle, it's the tangible dialectic of life and death, capable to express from a side the darkest chaos, from another one the infinite time: a vision who recalls to the circular edge of the human world.
It is the hope that supports the end, the destruction of negativity to continue hoping in every human being's vitality of conscience, it's life.
